Challenge #32 ~ Ocean Life

Hello and welcome to challenge #32 showcasing ocean life! For this card, I used the adorable Fintastic Friends stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

I colored the images with Copics and added Wink of Stella and glossy accents to give them a little dimension. The background was created with distress inks. The porthole was created with an MFT Ocean View Porthole die, silver metallic paper and finished off with black Pearl Pen dots.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set and cut using the MFT Fishtail dies and MFT Painted Prints Citrus and Trail Mix paper pads. Distress ink on the background and a few more bubbles coated with glossy accents and Viola!

I hope you will play along with this week's challenge. Please click here to be directed to the Craftaholics R Us blog and see all the details :-)

Craftaholics R Us Challenge #28

Challenge #28 ~ Beach

The beach IS my happy place so I was more than willing to be a guest designer for this week's challenge!

All coloring was done with Copic markers. For the shore line, I used a Marvy Snow Marker. When you heat the ink, it puffs up so I thought it would be perfect to represent foam from the waves.

Last but not least, I finished my card off with a sea shell brad from The Eyelet Outlet.

I hope you will join this week's Beach challenge.

Craftaholics R Us Challenge #27

Looking for inspiration and motivation, I came across this challenge blog. There is a new challenge every Wednesday and this week was "Summer". I found some cute Ty stickers called Beanie Boos and I couldn't resist those big eyes. I used the stitched circle die, cloud dies and paper from My Favorite Things and finished it off with some twine.

Are you reading this???

Hello! It's been over a year since I posted on my blog. With the dissolution of Operation Write Home, I kind of lost my joy in creating cards but I am ready to get back into it.

I was just wondering who if anyone would see this if I began posting again. Please let me know and leave the address of your blog so I may return the favor.

Thank you :-)

I colored this cute little image from Art Impressions with Copic Sketch markers which are currently $5.24 each at MarkerPop! You can't beat that price! These ladies look like they are having tons of fun!
If you would like to play along in this HERE! Hope you have a crafty day! :-)

MarkerPop! Challenge #84: Anything Goes

This week's challenge is to use Copic markers or any markers found in the MarkerPop! store. I received this beautiful angel by C.C. Designs and couldn't wait to bring her to life with my Copics!

It's not visible in this photo but I applied clear Wink of Stella glitter to the wings. Why is it that we only see our boo boos after we complete the project? Do you see it? I neglected to trim that tiny piece of cardstock from the left side of the cloud :-) She is still beautiful though.
There is still time to link up your project here.  Hope you're having a great day!

"Share Handmade Kindness" ~ Week 2

Week 2 (November 9 – 15) will focus on sharing any kind of handmade kindness with anyone who works/serves in our community – anyone who provides a helpful service to us.

My project for #sharehandmadekindness goes to my postman/woman. They visit me 6 days a week, rain or shine, sleet or snow and I am thankful for their service.

The tag is from My Favorite Things. The cute envelopes are from the Neat & Tangled "Just Hello" stamp set and the sentiment is part of the Hero Arts "Happy Birthday" stamp set. For more information about the Share Handmade Kindness challenge, click on the icon at the top of this post. :-)
